Claire Stretch is an artist who makes her home in Windham, Maine. Her photography represents the natural living world through a perspective all her own. She finds her subjects in and around the Presumpscot River environment and throughout her daily life. Claire believes capturing an image or color and presenting for daily enjoyment is a truly satisfying process.

Claire received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Montana, Missoula. Her work is not limited to photography, though it is truly one of her passions. Claire completed the apprentice program at the Carpenter's Boat Shop in Pemaquid, Maine. She continues to work on classic and antique boats at Woodman Boats in Kennebunkport, Maine.

When Claire is not creating art or finishing boats, she can be found creating cocktails at the Back Bay Grill in Portland, Maine, enjoying dinner with her husband Jay, or out on a lifestyle adventure depending on the season.
